Morality is a giant fucking grey area.

Right and wrong has always been one gigantic grey blob in a lot of areas. Yesterday, a man who looked homeless, was missing part of his thumb, and seemed somewhat like he was in need of a fix approached me on the BART and told me that he had to get off at some stop which cost more than he had, and I told him that all I had was a twenty, and gave it to him. It wasn’t until after I had given him the money that he seemed like he was a drug addict, but if he was one, and he did go to use that money on drugs, does the moral wrong lie on him – or me? I gave him the money for the purpose of him getting off the BART and getting to wherever he needed to get, but what if he uses that money to get drugs? What if he was lying to me? Am I the one who did the wrong doing, or is it him, or is even both of us? Morality is a stinky subject.
